November 21st, 2008 Just recieved what I think is the first of this seasons reduction in commission levels on Games Consoles to the zero percent level. The first to so this year is ToysRUs. It isn’t that they were offering a great amount in the first place, just 1%, so that’s only £3 on a PS3 console and a measly £1.80 on a Wii Console.
Now I know margins are tight at the best of times on these products, but really this is an insult to drop the reward to affiliates to zero just because this is a busy time of year and these will sell anyway.
How many more merchants are going to follow in ToysRUs footsteps. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen.
