What is ‘Black Friday’?

Black Friday shoppingBlack Friday is essentially an American event which traditionally follows the day after Thanks Giving. It is seen as the start of the Christmas shopping season. Black Friday isn’t a official holiday in the US but because of the excesses of Thanks Giving, many people have the Friday off too. This increases the number of people who start their Chirstmas shopping and many stores start or increase their offers because of this.

We don’t (yet) celebrate Black Friday in the UK. However, that doesn’t mean we need to miss out on special deals and offers. Many of our stores and online shops also have some fantastic offers, some just for this weekend.

So, here are a few examples to get you started:

- MISCO are having a Black Friday & Cyber Monday Extravaganza with loads of special offers and discounts for all your computer, electrical & technology needs.

- B&Q are having 20% off thousands of the products. Choose from all Kitchens, bathrooms & accessories, showering, furniture & bedrooms, worktops, sinks & taps. Use SAVE20 discount code at checkout.

- Presents for Men are offering a huge 30% on their secret Christmas gifts. Simply use SECRET30 until 2nd Decemeber to get the discount.

- Marks & Spencer are having a huge discount weekend with 25% Off per una and 25% Off kidswear until Monday 28th November.
